So beautiful scarf people.  Spring is in the air.  It’s the perfect time for a detox.  And for me, there is no better way to do this than with a green juice.  There are 100s of recipes for green juice out there.  But I promise you.  This green juice recipe from Gwyneth Paltrow’s book “It’s All Good” is THE BEST.  It’s full of calcium, Vitamin C and antioxidants.  And it’s delicious!

And the best bit is it’s so, so easy to make. So, in addition to the ingredients pictured above – kale leaves, an apple, the juice of one lemon and a small piece of ginger – Gwyneth’s recipe includes a sprig of mint.  Then simply wash all your ingredients thoroughly and put them through a juicer. And if you don’t have a juicer?  No worries.  Simply blend the ingredients together with one 1/2 cup of water and then strain through a fine-mesh sieve.

And forgive me if I am preaching to the converted.  But for any green juice newbies out there, it’s important to “chew” the juice in your mouth before you swallow to aid digestion. And drink your green juice immediately to really take advantage of all the goodness.
